Welcome to Sheffield City Walking Tours

I’m Marcus Newton, Sheffield’s local City centre tour guide. I offer private guided pre-bookable walking tours to show you the best of old and new Sheffield.

My private tours can start and finish at any City centre location of your choice, mornings, afternoons and early evenings.

My private 90 minute City centre tour is interesting, fun and informative and take you on a journey through 900 years of Sheffield’s history. On your private tour you will see many of Sheffield’s key attractions, such as the twin Cathedrals and the Town and City Halls.

I deliver private tours at an easy going pace and they are suitable for people of all ages and abilities (children under 16 must be accompanied by an appropriate adult). I have up to date public liability insurance.

My 90 minute City centre private walking tour costs £20 per person. There is no minimum tour number required, I am happy to take sole travelers or couples on a private tour. 
I offer a 10% discount for groups of 20+ people.

I also offer other tours that I can tailor to meet your interests. I also offer talks, lectures, coach tour guiding and can deliver team events for business team builds or corporate events. Please contact me to discuss your requirements and costs.
