Please note all tours operate subject to the following terms and conditions.
All tours operate subject to my availability. I reserve the right to cancel a tour in advance or on the day of a tour if 1) I consider the prevailing weather conditions unsuitable, 2) I consider it unsafe to operate, 3) I am unable to operate due to circumstances beyond my control and 4) When on occasion domestic committment, travel disruption, illness, holidays or circumstances beyond my control prevent me from operating. I do not accept any personal or financial liability should any of my tours not operate.
There is no mimimum number requirement for my private tours.
On my tours, no first aid provision is available.
On my tours, it is the responsibility of participants to decide as to their fitness and suitability to take part in my tour. Please note below regarding terrain encountered on my walking tours.
The City centre walking tour requires walking continously for approximately 90 minutes.on a variety of footpath and road surfaces, as noted below.
Whilst participating in the City centre walking tour a variety of footpath and road surfaces (for example flag stones, cobles, block pavers and tarmac/asphalt), supertram tracks, kerbsides and street furniture are encountered. On occasion the aforementioned surfaces may be slippery due to prevailing weather conditions, leaves, litter, dirt or moss/algae. On occasion the aforementioned surfaces may be in a poor condition with uneven, loose or protruding surfaces. On bespoke parks, gardens and country side tours a variety of other surfaces such as grass, earth, mud, gravel. scree, cinder, rock as well as stepping stones, cattle grids, styles, streams and other non specified surfaces may on occasion be encountered.encountered.On all tours, participants are responsible for ensuring they take care and attention with regard to their health and safety when encountering the aforementioned surfaces.

On the City centre walking tour, it is the responsibility of participants to ensure that they wear clothing, sun protection and footwear appropriate to the prevailing weather conditions and suitable for walking on the aforementioned surfaces.
On bespoke tours, it is the responsibility of particpants to wear clothing, sun protection and footwear appropriate to the prevailing weather conditions and suittable for the time and distance of tour; and suitable for the surfaces and topography of the tour route requested by the particpants.
On all tours, participants are responsible for the cost of any food or drink they wish to purchase whilst participating.
On bespoke tours, participants are respinsible for the cost of any transport used during the tour and for other tour related costs such as entrance to museums, attractions, events, places of entertaiment or guest speakers.
On all tours, children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Financial terms and conditions
For both private customers and commercial clients, if I arrange a bespoke walking tour, the cost of any associated travel or entrance fees is not included in my charges and this is for you at your own expense or the people you have arranged for me to take on the tour to pay for at their own expense.
Payment by private customers
All private customer tours must be paid for at the start of the tour with cash UK GBP Pounds Sterling.
Payment by commercial clients
All tours must be paid for in full and money deposited in my bank account, no latter than 7 working days prior to the date of your tour.
The following payment methods are acceptable, subject to my discretion for commercial client tours.
Payment by cheque
On occasion and only with my prior written agreement, payment by UK GBP Pounds Sterling cheque drawn on a London UK Clearing Bank. A receipt will be posted to your business address once the cheque has cleared. In the case of cheques, please allow sufficient time for your cheque to be received by me and cleared by my bank, so that your payment is cleared and paid 7 working days prior to your tour.
Payment by BACs
Subject to my discretion I may by prior written agreement accept payment from commercial clients by UK GBP Pound Sterling BACS transfer from a London UK Clearing Bank. Please ensure yoy payment is deposited in my bank account no latter than 7 working days before the date of your tour.
Important, please note the following conditions regarding cancellation of tours
When making a booking, please note that you are agreeing to following conditions regarding cancellation of your tour either by myself or yourself (whether you are a private customer or a commercial client)
Private customers who cancel a tour they have booked with me
There is no cancellation charge should you wish to cancel your booking. It is appreciated if you could inform me as soon as it is reasonably possible to do so.
Commercial clients who cancel a tour they have booked with me
There is no cancellation charge should you wish to cancel your booking. Please write to me informing me of your cancellation. If your payment has deposited and cleared by my bank, I will endeavor to refund this to you as soon as I can reasonably do so.
If I have to cancel a private customer or commercial client’s tour
On occasion due to the nature of my business as a sole trader, I am unable to on occasion not be able to operate a tour due to circumstances beyond my control. Such circumstances as noted in my terms and conditions above can often be at short notice and render the delivery of your tour impossible. If such circumstances occur I will endeavor to contact you by the most expeditious method that is reasonably available to me at the time.
Please note it is a condition of me accepting your booking whether you are either a private customer or a commercial client.
Your booking is accepted by me on the express condition, I do not accept any financial liability to you either the private customer or the commercial client, for any loss or costs either directly or indirectly that you the incur due to me cancelling your tour. This also applies to any loss or costs either directly or indirectly incurred by me cancelling your tour.
In the case of commercial clients whose payment has been deposited and cleared by my bank, I will endeavor to refund their payement as soon as it is reasonably possible for me to do so.
